Life in the colonies
people rich and poor, far and near started coming to America for a new start. Even people from France,Scotland,Ireland,Germany, Sweden, and all other countrys. Also some craftworkers help/ or contributed to the economy, they made tools for the people, and was able to make a varity of good. The reason why I chose this event is so we can go back, find out where and how we started as a country. Plus It teaches us how life was back then. -
The Slaves Issue
Many people wanted to abolish (or get rid of) slaverey completely. The issue of slavery threatened to rip the country apart. Some states didn`t have slaves, The northern states didnt want slaves but the Southern states did. The south kinda abuesed them, took advantage. But in 1860 Abe Lincoln as was elected President and he stopped slavery. The reason I picked this event was to remind us how cruel we could be. and how we can stand up for himself show how important Abe is. -
Technology back in the 1860`s
the first transcontinental railroad was completed in 1869. the train went through the great pleains (or the midwest). The train made it eaiser to get from the west coast to the midwest. Also with the new agriculture the machinery got more advanced, which made farms have fewer farmers. The reason I chose this event because i wanted to remind us how smart and advanced we can be. And to remind us that almost nothing is possible. -
The 1910`s
1910 is when we advanced in technology. The UNited States experienced big social, economic, political, and technological changes. -
World War 2
World War 2 was a human disaster. Europe was attacking Asia so they could build an empire. Hitler pushed Nazis pushed Germany into War. Japan attacked the US (Pearl Harbor). Then the US bombed Japan. Around 50 MILLION people died in this world disaster. The resan why I chose this event is to remind us that we are not babies and can take care or anyone that messes with us(I mean bomb us). and who to ally and who not to ally
