The 1900 hurricane is the deadliest hurricane that has ever hit Texas. There was over 6,000 people killed because they did not have technology to know that it was coming soon enough.

The Daisy Bradford #3 well is drilled. It was drilled near Turnnertown in Rusk county by wildcatter co. The derrick was drilled into the huge Oil Field which is mapped on the right.

On September 11, 2001 Iraqi terrorists hijacked planes and ran them into the Twin Towers. They are belived to have been trying to bomb the White House but were unsucessful. They also bombed the pentagon.
