    2. Significance: During this age (3-5 years old), I began asserting control and power over my environment and surroundings.

    2. Significance: I learned to cope with new social and academic demands. My success in these demands has led to a feeling of competence.

    2. Significance: After being on my own in college, I will realize that I, as an individual, am a separate entity from society. I will then view the world with moral reasoning and different opinions, rights, and values.

    2. Significance: Being in a strong relationship will prevent me from being isolated and lonely.
