  • Breast Self-Exam

    Breast Self-Exam
    Breast Self-Exam is for women to detect any sign of Breast Cancer. A BSE involves checking your breasts to help detect any abdormalities such as lumps. When doing this you should try different positions, standing and lying down, to see if there is any changes in the appearance. Women should begin this in their 20s, and at least chekc once a month.
  • Pap Smear Test

    The Pap smear is a screening test for cervical cancer. A Pap Smear takes cells scraped from the opening of the cervix are examined under a microscope. You should start getting a pap smear at the age of 21 and get one every 3 years until you are 29.
  • Clinical Breast Exam

    Clinical Breast Exam
    Clinical Breast Exam is to help detect any signs of breast cancer. This is a physical examintion done by a health professional to find a lump or change in ones breast. You should start getting a CBE in your 20s/30s every 3 years, but when you turn 40 you hsould get one every year.
  • Pap Smear and HPV test

    The Pap smear and HPV test is a screening test for cervical cancer. A Pap Smear takes cells scraped from the opening of the cervix are examined under a microscope. A HPV test detects the presence of a a virus that can lead to the development of genital warts, abnormal cervical cells or cervical cancer. You should start getting a pap smear and HPV test at the age of 30 and get one every 5 years until you are 65.
  • Mammogram

    Mammogram
    Mammogram is to look for any detections in breast cancer. Mammogram is an X-rays of the patients breasts to find an tumors that you or oyur doctor could not feel. You should have a mammogram done yearly after the age of 40.
  • Fecal Occult Blood Test

    Fecal Occult Blood Test is a screening test for colorectal cancer. For this test, you put tiny samples of your stool on a special card or cloth and send it to a lab. The lab uses chemicals to find blood that you can't see with the naked eye. You should start getting a FOBT around the age of 40 and get it yearly.
  • Colonoscopy

    A colonoscopy is a screening test for colorectal cancer. A colonoscopy is a procedure that enables an examiner to evaluate the inside of the colon, but also to investigate the cause of blood in the stool, abdominal pain, diarrhea, a change in bowel habit. You should start getting a colonoscopy around the age of 50 and get one abot every 10 years.
  • Pap smear

    Pap smear is another screening test for endometrial cancer. The recommended time you get a screening for endometrial cancer is at the time of menopause, so around the age of 51.
