Proclamation of 1773
In simple terms The Proclamation of 1773 was a "line" where the colonist could not cross. This line was actually the Appalachian mountains. The reason why the Proclamation was put at the Appalachian mountains is because at the end of the French and Indian war the British crown wanted to set a limit so that the (European) Colonists could finally get settled into America. Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was where the British put a tax on certain daily use items that came from Britain. The act was put in place to pay for troops that they lost in the 7 year war. Link -
The Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was where the British soldiers were walking on the Colonists streets, and the Colonists were throwing things such as snowballs and stones, and also yelling at the soldiers. The Tea Act
The Tea Act was simply where the British taxed the Tea of the Colonist, they did this for many reasons. One reason being that the Colonists threw the British Tea in the harbor. Another reason is because tea was a daily "necessity" for the colonists. link -
The Intolerable Acts
The Intolerable Acts were a set of laws put in place by the British to punish the Colonies for the Boston Tea Party. The acts were called, the Boston Port act, Massachusetts Government Act, The Administration of Justice Act, and the Quartering Act.

The Boston Tea Party
The Boston tea party is where the Colonists threw the British Tea into the Boston Harbor. The reason they did this was to protest British Parliament's taxes on tea.

Lexington and Concord was where the British marched into Lexington and Concord to take their guns, and/or weapons, but all it really did was help start up the Revolutionary War

Common Sense was where Thomas Paine wrote a "book" or a pamphlet, supporting the idea of Independence from Great Britain for the Colonies.

The declaration of Independence basically freed the Colonists from Great Britain, and allowed them to be free and known as America.
