    Dennis Lo, a doctor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong made simple blood tests for cancer. The blood test searches for viral DNA that dying cancer cells release into a person’s plasma. These simple blood tests for cancer are hoped to increase a five year survival rate for cancer patients.
  • Cars that communicate with eachother

    Audi was the first brand to make cars that communicate with one another. This technology allows vehicles to show speed, position, steering-wheel position, brake status and more to other cars. This helps alert self driving cars to other vehicles around them. Even in safety advances, there are still more than 30,000 traffic deaths every year in the United States, this communication with cars is to help preven many of those accidents.
  • Brain Organoids

    Madeline Lancaster the lead researcher at Cell Biology division at the LMB, had made an important advancement in the medical field called, brain organoids. This is helping uncover the mysteries of dementia, mental illness and other neurological disorders. These brain organoids are helping us discover what is causing some mayjor suff happing in our brains, that we can later hopefully fix.

    Needle free vaccines were made by a company names Pharmajethas. Needle free injection encompasses a wide range of drug delivery systems that drive drugs through the skin. Needleless vaccines elp inhance our lives by reduceing the risk of needle-stick injuries.
  • Reusable Rockets

    At the beginning of 2015, Falcon 9 by SpaceX made reusable rockets and began using drones for the rocket's landings. These reusable rockets have helped reduce the waste of making more rockets, it helped reduce the cost for SpaceX, and it has also made it easier to come back from a destination.
