Magic was drafted by the Lakers in 1979. In the 1991-1992 NBA season Magic Johnson was tested postive for HIV and retires from the NBA. He went back the NBA 1/29/96, and retired again 5/14/96. -

In 1993 Micheal Jordan retires from the NBA to play minor league baseball. But, 17 months later he returned to play in the NBA again with the Bulls. -
OJ Simpson Trial
In 1994 Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman were stabbed to death. And OJ Simpson was notified and returned to Los Angeles from Chicago and was handcuffed temporarily. 1995 the OJ Simpson started and he was found 100% not guilty to the charges. OJ was never found guilty in the death of the two people.
