Montgomery Bus Boycott
A protest that lasted for over 13 months boycotting the Montgomery bus system for being racially segregated. This ultimately ended with the U.S. Supreme Court ordering Montgomery to integrate its bus system forever. One of the leaders of the boycott was Martin Luther King Jr., who we all know and love grows to be a prominent leader in the American Civil Rights Movement. -
