The Lusitania was a ship that sunk as a result of the German U-boats. These boats were the only think that gave Germany a significant advantage in the war. This was one of the things that got Americans really encouraged to fight in the war. -
WWII Ends
Germany signed the Treaty of Versailles which officially brought WWI to an end in 1918. -
Red Scare
The Red Scare began at the very end of WWI after the war had ended. This was a very anti-communist group that warned people of the possible dangers that they might see with new ideas.
