    After my first week at school, I was told to pack an overnight bag and go to a hotel with my parents because a hurricane was coming. They said we would be back in 2 days. I didn't see the school or my belongings again for 5 months.

    University Of Maryland
    A week after the hurricane, I was informed that I would not be able to go back to Tulane this semester. I had a choice--take a semester off, or start my college experience off at another school. The University of Maryland welcomed me with open arms. I never looked back.
