  • Stono Rebellion

    Stono Rebellion of 1738 was the most important slave rebellion in British North Amerian colonies. Then, slaves were being put through excessive work and brutal punishment.

    The Neutralization Act was passed by Congress to limit acess to white immigrants. It also granted citizenship to children born abroad from US citizens.

    The Seven Years War was a global conflict between Great Britian and France. It consisted of many battles and wars. Great Britain gained Frances land in North America. The war ended in two treaties and was founght in Europe and America.
  • Treaty of Paris

    The Treaty of Paris of 1763 ended The French and Indian War between Great Britian and France. France gave Britian it's settlements and took down military enforcements.
  • The Stamp Act

    On March 22 of 1765, British Parliament passed the Stamp Act on American colonists. This required tax on printed paper.
  • Townshed Acts

    In 1767 the Townshed Acts established many texes on imported supplies. parliment wanted to taxes to help on Britians debt.
  • Boston massacre

    On March 5th of 1770 a riot occured on King St that started between American colonists and a British soilder. It was called The Boston Massacre and soon paved the way for the American revolution .

    Thomas Paine published Common Sense in 1776. It was his demand foe independence, the article showed concerning everyday matters to nearly all people.
  • Shays Rebellion

    After the American Revolution in 1787, Shays Rebellion ocured from the debt crisis. It was a series of violent attacks on the courthouses and other government properties.

    In 1793 Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin. It was able to successfully pull out the seeds from the cotton balls.
