This is the bloodiest war in European history. It was between the Roman Catholics and protestants in Germany. May 23rd, 1618 two Catholic governes and their secretary were thrown off the top of the prause castle by Jindirch Matyas. -

Late August, 1619, the first ship with slaves came to point comfort. They were brought by the White Lion who was under a Dutch leader. They were traded for supplies. -

The thirty's year was was religous conflit. During 1618 to1648. Towards the end of the war, it was no longer about religon and more about who would be the govener of Europe. -

In Febuary of 1692, people were claiming to see withces and two teen girls were getting people killed by claiming they knew they were a witch or they had seen weird actvitiy from those people. -

During 1688 to 1697, King william's war was about the North American theater which was also known as the war of grand alliance. The war was between Native American's against English settlers and their Indian allies. -

The scientific Revolution, led by Nichokles Coperpics. However, Isaac Newton had an affect as well. The revoultio8n was about drastic change in sceince that replaced Greek view of nature. It wasn't a ture revolution however during the 16th century and ending the early 17th century. -

Between 1701 to 1714, the spansish succesion was conflict between who had the throne of Spain after the death of Charles the second. The battle of Blenheim helped and was a major turning point for the war. -
Battle of Blenheim
August 13th, 1704, the battle of Blenheim began. It was fought in hopes of saving Vrenna from Franco-Baratian and preventing the collapse of the Grand Alliance which was between England, Iceland, Scotland, etc.. -
Battle of Oudenaarde
July 11th, 1708, the battle of Oudenaarde. It was the victory over the French by Prince Eugene. This was during the Spanish Succesion. The battle was led to ally Anglo-Dutch of Ghent and Bruges. -

In 1764, French settlers started moving towars mississippi and missouri rivers. They moved because it was far less flooding, they constructed a villiage which was names Lous IX for France. -

Octoer 26th, 1774 the first continetinal congress in Carpenter's hall in Philidelphia. The delegates from twelve out of thirteen of Britian's American olonies met to discuss the future of Amrica. -

The Mexican American war was between 1776 and 1848. It was a battle for land, Mexico was trying to keep what they thought was theirs, while America wanted that land. Therefore causing a war over the land. -
The Civil War
April 12th, 1861 the civil war began. The confederate troops fired upon Fort Sumter. About 35 hours later, union forces surrendered. This was happened because of uncompromising differences between free and slave states. -

In 1874, the Republicans elephant came to be. It is the symbol that represents the republicans' versus the democrats'. -

In the start of the 1800's, the president was Thomas Jefferson until 1805. At the end of the 1800's, Ulysses S. Grant was the president until 1877.
