John White sailed with his people and crashed in Roanoke.He and his people had sailed from England because the British were rased taxes.After they setteled they started to run out of supplies so John White had to sail back to get supplies.But there was a war going on wich made him stay for 3 years when he came back there no one there. -
British Settlement
Then after they settled in the new world the British named the new world the 13 colonies then the British wanted back their land left the americans in the 13 colonies.Then sometimes later the British started to collecting taxes.The people from the 13 colonies started arguing about the raise of the taxes.So they made a war that would probly end that,the war started when the coninnetal congress began its affects on the British with an outbreak war in 1774. -

The 13 Colonies people [americans] wanted their freedom from the British.So they planed and started the Revolutionary war.The war ended with us victorias.Because the British surrended wich.The caused our independenc e.Day the contituation document wich named our independece.1775 to 1783 -

The start was June1 1776 and the end was July4 1777. On June 1 1776 the British army destroyed 23 copies of the Declaration of Independence.Lucaley 1 copie survived that was done by John Dulap that was found in Philidalphia in July4 1777. -

Lincon was picked president because he wanted to start a war to end the slavery(civil war ).Effect was that he gave a speech3 days before his assaination.The speech started the Civil War wich ended slavery in the north and because he is on the 5 dollar bill because he was a president that made a war start to end slavery
