-Holds 2 objects in hands easily.
-Alternates between standing and sitting positions easily.
-Likes to play with modeling clay. -
19-24 mos. intellectual growth
-Can remember familiar objects without seeing them.
-Has a vocabulary of about 20-50 words.
-May be able to recall what is lost and where it may be.
-Asks for food when hungry and water when thirsty. -
25-30 mos. physical growth
-Enjoys running but is unable to measure sudden stops.
-Kicks balls for fun.
-Opens doors by turning knobs.
-Likes to take jar lids off and screw them back on. -
25-30 mos. intellectual growth
-Becomes more interested in children's tv shows.
-Vocabulary starts at 200 and increases to 500 words.
-Enjoys playing house and imitating family situations.
-Enjoys learning names for new objects. -
31-36 mos. physical growth
-Enjoys games involving running.
-Goes upstairs alternating feet, but goes down one foot at a time.
-Turns door knobs with greater strength.
-Takes objects apart and puts them back together. -
31-36 mos. intellectual growth
-Begins to clasify objects into general categories.
-Can remember and follow 3 step commands.
-Vocabulary starts at 500 and goes thru about 1000.
-Creates 2-3 word sentences including verbs.
