10 important moments

  • Birth

    Birth
On the verge of existence and a world of possibilities was opening up to me and I chose to stay. I was my Mom's third and last child and wasn't supposed to make it. There had been two miscarriages before me and this was my Mom's last chance to have a baby. As terrified as my Mom was she stayed strong through the pain because she wasn't gonna give up on me. In the doctors note it's stated that during the final stages of the C-Section I had grabbed onto my mother's ribs and wouldn't leave.
  • The Death of my First Doggo

The Death of my First Doggo
The first dog I ever owned was an Australian shepard, Border Collie mix named Target. He was my best friend everyday and was the one to go to when I needed someone. This dog went above and beyond when it came to protecting. If we would walk in the yard at a young age he would herd me away from any rocks the colorful rose bush in my yard. If we were in the front yard he would pull my shirt if he saw someone he didn't trust. Target will always be my best friend even after his death.
  • Appendicitis

    Appendicitis
Appendicitis is a condition in which the appendix becomes inflamed and filled with pus, causing pain. In the middle of a night back in 4th grade I was woken up by the deafening pain in my stomach. I was paralyzed by the pain and was only able to get Mom's attention by banging on the wall until the plaster broke. We went to the hospital immediately where I spent the next 8 hours being tested on and drinking the most awful orange juice on the planet (It was a medication to locate the blockage).
  • Started Playing Football

    Started Playing Football
Playing football has physically shaped me as a human being. The way I talk, walk and the body stature I have can be attributed to my years of football. The sport taught me how to respect others and to take charge when something had to get done.
  • Making Varsity Track

    Making Varsity Track
I never saw myself as much of an athlete but somehow when it came to track I found a knack for throwing a discus. A high school discus weighs in at 3lb 9oz and I had managed to throw the thing a whopping 92 feet my freshman year. Above average for any freshman especially when it comes the Brewster. This personal record of mine qualified for multiple varsity events. This skill then transferred to my other events such as shot put where I threw 30 feet and then Javelin where I threw 97 feet.
  • Receiving the title of Fly Captain in Stage Crew

Receiving the title of Fly Captain in Stage Crew
Stage Crew has always been a huge part of my high school career. My freshman year was the best when all the seniors like Mark Guarino and Katarina Rose would make every day so much fun. Mark Guarino was the previous Fly Captain and this entailed that he was in charge of all the ropes on the stage. Well it was his senior year and the rule is that the Fly Captain must pass down this title on his last show to someone he trusts to keep charge and to keep others safe. The person he trusted was me.
  • My First Job

    My First Job
My family has always struggled with money and I knew as soon as I was old enough I would be working. My first official job is one of the same ones I keep today at a small restaurant on the edge of the Brewster Village called Country Kitchen. My job has taught many important things like washing dishes... but also how to balance money, take tickets, bus tables and helped me understand how to respect a boss. My boss is still very mean but now she know not to get super mad at me because i'll quit.
  • Dab on Hello Dolly

    Dab on Hello Dolly
Hello Dolly is the only show on my long theatre resume where I performed on stage. I was in 6 choreographed scenes where I danced in multiple suits and a waiter's outfit. The best moment of that show was the last high school preview where me and my best friend Joe Castellano and I performed the famous dance move called the "Dab." We had been planning it for sometime but we were scared to because our director hated the both us but we were prepared to be legends no matter the cost.
  • My First Car

    My First Car
Ever since my brother was allowed to drive my Dad's 1969 Mercedes to school I couldn't wait to be able to drive my car into high school. The problem was at the time where I was able to drive in there wasn't an extra car for me. The parents told me that if I wanted to drive a car in I would need to buy my own car. Every part of it, the car, the insurance, the repairs and any other cost related to the car. I knew what I wanted and that was a car and I was ready to work as much as I needed to.
  • Learning to Drive Stick

    Learning to Drive Stick
THe other requirement of me getting a car that my parents gave me was that it had to be a standard. To anyone lucky enough to have an automatic that don't know what a standard is, its a car that requires the driver to shift the gears manually and be able to understand the fundamentals of a clutch pedal. This was a grueling learning process that to this day I still stall out sometimes. On the upside though only 3 people are able to take my car besides my family and those are my best friends.
