You Tube is founded in San Mateo California. It was founded by three former PayPal employees Steve Chen, Chand Hurley and Jawed Karim. Originally YouTube was named "Tune In Hook Up" with the intention for people to upload videos of themselves for dating purposes. “Shortly after the site opened on a limited (“beta”) basis in May 2005, it was attracting some 30,000 visits per day”. As of 2022 Youtube has 2.6 billion users making YouTube the best video streaming platform. With the ease of navigation many people are able to access all over the world. Youtube is available on digital gadgets which allows users unlimited access and visability any time monetizing business and still content creators.
