Transportation and communication improved. Automobiles, airplanes, movies, and radio become more popular. After the war prices went down on automobiles so it was more common for people to have them. Airplanes made it faster and easier to travel far distances. Movies made it it easier for people to have good and clean entertainment which got their minds off of all of the bad stuff. Radio gave people news at the time it happened instead of the next day on a news paper.
