    The Fall of Rome

    The Fall of Rome
    In 405 AD, the Roman Empire split into two. One was the Western Roman Empire and the other one was the Eastern Roman Empire. The spliting of the Roman Empire was the begining of the Fall of Rome. Between 405 and 476 AD, Rome was continuously sacked by multiple tribes and groups. In 476 AD, the Eastern Empire, which included Rome, fell and with thus the Medieval Ages.

    On the 25th of December, 1000, Grand Prince Stephen of Hungary was crowned King Stephen I of the Kingdom of Hungary. On the same day, the whole Kingdom of Hungafry swore an oath to follow Cristianity.

    On the 14th of October, after 150 years of viking rule, England was invaded by King Harald of Norway as King Edward the Confessor had no children and Harald claimed he was the right successor of England but King Harold II already claimed the throne. After Harald's invasion, he was majorly defeated and was also killed during battle. While that, William of Normandy fought Harold and won becoming the first Norman King of England.

    Like the aim of the other crusades before, the Third Crusade lead by Richard the Lionheart, was established to conquer the Holy Land (Jerusalem) from the Muslims and their leader Saladin. The Third Crusade was a failiure for the English as many troops were lost and the main target, Jerusalem, wasn't captured.

    The battle of Nagashino occoured on the 28th of June, 1575. On this battle Takeda Katsuyori tried to invade and capture Nagashino, but with the forces of Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu, Katsuyori was defeated and the siege dropped.

    Oda Nobunaga's Forced Suicide
    The forced death of Oda Nobunaga happened on the 21st of June, 1582 during the attack on Honno-ji by Akechi Mitsuhide. As the temple was surrounded by Akechi Mitsuhide forces, Oda Nobunaga was forced to commit suicide.

    Shogun Togukawa Ieyasu bans Portugese trade in Japan since he doesn't want the Portugese coming in and out of the country.
