Neutrality Act of 1939- On August 31, 1935 Congress passed The Neutrality Act which stated that companies couldn’t send guns or ammunitions without an export license. -
Nuremberg Laws
Nuremberg Laws- At the annual party rally held in Nuremberg and was introduced Sep. 15th, 1935, the Nazis announced new which institutionalized many of the racial theories prevalent in Nazi ideology. The laws excluded German Jews from Reich citizenship and prohibited them from marrying or having sexual relations with persons of "German or related blood." -
Munich Pact
Munich Pact- Germany signed an agreement with Great Britain, France, and Italy so Germany could take over Czechoslovakia. This was signed on September 29, 1938. -

Adolf Hitler- Adolf Hitler was a German politician of Austrian origin who was the leader of the Nazi Party, Chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945, and Führer of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. On September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland and the WWII started. -

Winston Churchill- Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, was a British statesman who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. August 15, 1940, an Germany attack against southern England and Winston Churchill lead Britain against Germany. -
Lend-Lease Act
Lend-Lease Act- Lend-Lease Act of March 11, 1941. Before this Act companies would send supplies to countries to help them in the war. Congress created the Lend-Lease Act to allow the sale, lease, transfer, or exchange of arms and supplies to any country whose defended of the United States. -
Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor- Happened on December 7, 1941 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, a naval base located in Hawaii. This was one of the causes for the US to enter the war and get back on Japan -
D-Day
D-Day- 150,000 Soldiers from America, Britain, and Canada crossed over the English canal. The soldiers crossed over into France to fight against Germany and the Nazi Party. -
Harry S. Truman
Harry S. Truman- Harry S. Truman was the 33rd President of the United States, an American politician of the Democratic Party. Truman was elected November of 1944. Commanded by Truman, the U.S. dropped two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which ending the war. -
United Nations
United Nations- The United Nations was created to replace the League of Nations. It was created in October 24, 1945, and the headquarters are located in Lake Success, NY. Meeting were held in New York to keep peace between nations. -
Dwight Eisenhower
Dwight Eisenhower- Dwight David "Ike" Eisenhower was the 34th President of the United States from 1953 until 1961. He was a five-star general in the United States Army during World War II and served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe. In December 1950, he was named Supreme Commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and given operational command of NATO forces in Europe. -
Joseph Stalin
Joseph Stalin- Joseph Stalin was the leader of the Soviet Union from the mid-1920s until his death on March 5th, 1953. Holding the post of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, he was effectively the dictator of the state.
