Anti-Semitic- Discrimination and hostility towards Jewish people. -
Albert Einstein
Albert Einstein- A Jew himself, fled Germany to the United States in December, 1932. He was a world renown scientist and a large contributor to the atomic bomb. -
Adolf Hitler
cAdolf Hitler- The leader of the Germans and the creator of the Nazi party. He played a great role in WWII. He came into Germany when Germany was down and gave the people something to believe in when he promised them revenge on all the countries who did this to them which pumped up the Germans. -

Neutrality act of 1939 - The Neutrality act imposed a ban on shipments of weapons and war materiel to different countries. -
Winston Churchill
Winston Churchill- Became the Prime Minister of Britain in April, 1940. During WWII, he helped give Britain citizens hope by delivering many inspiring speeches. He helped keep Nazi resistance alive. -

Tripartite Act, Lend- Lease act - Passed in March 1941 the Lend-Lease Act was an act passed for providing U.S. military aid to foreign nations during World War II. -

Nuremberg Trials- A series of 13 trials against high-ranking German Officers. They were on trial for crimes against humanity. Between 1945 and 1949. -
Executive Order 8802
Executive Order 8802- Franklin D. Roosevelt enacted the order on June 25, 1941. The order helped stop racial discrimination in the United States. -
Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor- Japanese fighter planes attacked the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor. This action forced the United States into the war. -
George S. Patton
George S.Patton Jr.- Started his military career leading cavalry troops against Mexican forces and became the first officer assigned to the new U.S. Army Tank Corps during World War I. From then on he help lead American troops to battle. -
Dwight Eisenhower
Dwight Eisenhower - Five star general in WWII. Went on to become 34th president. Responsible for planning and supervising the invasion of South Africa. -
United Nations
United Nation - The United Nations were founded in the purpose of trying to prevent another great war. It was created on October 21, 1945.
