ATTACK ON PEARL HARBOR
Japanese fighter planes flew over the US and bombed Pearl Harbour. ATOMIC BOMB #1
This was the first ever atomic bomb to be dropped on real human beings and a city. It destroyed about 90% of Hiroshima, Japan. This was the first sign from the Americans towards the Japanese to stop the war, however the japanese did not respond within three days which cause the second bomb to be dropped. Three days after the first bomb was dropped the second one was dropped on Nagasaki, another Japanese city, this bombing really pinched the Japanese and caused them to surrender to the USA.
