The Germans and the Soviets sign a non-agression pact, allowing Germany to invade Poland without fear of Russia attacking back. -
Germany Invades Poland
Thanks to the benefit of having a non-agression pact with Poland's ally, Russia, the Germans invade Poland, adding it to their territory. -
Declarations of War
Britain, France and Australia declare war on Germany due to the attack on Poland. -
Germany Breaks Pact
The Germand break the German - Soviet Non-agression pact, when they attack Soviet territory in Operation Barbarossa. -
Pearl Harbour
Japan bombs Pearl Harbour, destroying some of America's Navy. Due to this, the USA entered the war. -
US Troops enter Australian territory
US Troops begin to arrive on Australian shores, due to the USA's new involvement in the War. -
Bombing of Darwin
Japan Bombed Darwin, destroying Naval ships, and the Air Force Bases there. Due to Darwin having little defences, this was accomplished with heavy Allies Casualties, and little Japanese casualties. It is known as the first and largest single attack ever. -
Itally is invaded.
Itally is invaded by the Allies, stopping them from being able to support the Germans. -

D-day was the Allied invasion of what was known as 'Fortress' Europe, that was under control of the Germans and their Nazi Party. -
Russian Forces Reach Berlin
The Russian Armies finalise their race, and make it to Berlin, the Capital of Germany. -
Germany Surrenders
Germany signs its instrament of surrender, and ends its involvement in the war. The war doesn't finish however, as Japan does not surrender. -
Hiroshima Bombing
USA bombs Hiroshima with one of their 2 alternate Atomic Bomb designs. The bomb was a Uranium Gun-type atomic bomb, also known as Little Boy. -
Nagasaki Bombing
USA finalises its atomic bombing of Japan in its usage of the 2nd alternate atomic bomb design. The bomb was a Plutonium Implosion-Type bomb, that was also known as Fat Man. -
Japan Announces its surrender
Just days after the Atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan announces its surrender to the Allies. -
Japan Surrenders
Japan signs it's instrament of surrender, finalising and ending World War II -
United Nations is formed
The United Nations were formed after the end of World War II, succeeding the League of Nations, in hopes of surpassing their efforts, and preventing further World Wars, and Wars in general.
