Germany Invades Russia
Hitler breaks the Non Aggression Pact, a treaty he'd signed with the Societ Union, and invades Russia. Russia then becomes one of the Allied nations. -
Bombing of Pearl Harbor
Japan Naval forces launched a surprise attack on the United States after Franklin Roosevelt decided to embargo all shipment of supplies. This was due to Japanese aggression in east Asia. -
US Declares War on Japan
The next day after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt) asks congress to declare war on Japan. -
Battle of Midway
The Battle of Midway was the turning point in the war in the Pacific. America was victorious over Japan and eventually pushed them back to their country. -
D-Day
After Nazi Germany overwhelmed France, American and Allied troops landed in France to liberate. -
Atomic Bombs
President Harry Truman has a choice when America pushes Japan back to their island. He decides to drop two atomic bombs. The first one on August 6th and the second one on August 9th.
