Rape of Nanking (1937)
Episode of mass murder and rape committed by the Japanese troops. This all resulted in death of 50,000-300,000 people. All of this happened during the Sino-Japanese war.

Pearl Harbor (1941)

Bataan Death March (1942)
When Japan invaded the Philippines while the Americans were led by MacArthur and were evacuated. Thousands died. Japanese troops marched prisoners to POW camp where thousands more died.

Meeting of Nazi officials in Berlin to finish the "final solution" to the "Jewish Problem". In this conference, Nazis decided to take action and start concentration camps to get kill millions of jews.

D-Day (Normandy Invasion - 1944)
The day 156,000 American,British, and Canadian forces arrived on the beach of Normandy. Was one of the largest attacks in the war and held the Allies eventually take over Germany.

Victory over Japan Day: This was after the US dropped two bombs on Japan and they surrendered to end WWII. Atomic warfare is still seen today in threats and war.

VE Day (1945)
Victory in Europe Day: Day that the Allies attacked Berlin. Hitler and his wife were killed by themselves on this day even though no one saw their bodies. The Soviet Union wrecked Berlin with bombs.

Dropping of the Atomic Bombs (1945)
The US was working on a secret project that was called the Manhattan Project. They tested one atomic bomb and once it worked they tried to get Japan to surrender but they refused. After they refused the US dropped two atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Around 250,000 Japanese were killed from the bombs and many died from radiation of the bombs, cities were also destroyed.
