Japan invades Manchuria
Japanese invasion begins in Manchuria. Taking down Chinese resistance from milita to Military personnels. They also imprisoned or killed civilians. -
Fascist Italy conquers Ethiopia
Italy begins its conquest by conquering Ethiopia and its people. Little resistance was given and eliminated. All citizens were given the choice to join or be imprisoned. -
Germany and Italy initiate treaty.
Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy sign a treaty of cooperations. Which means they will go their separate ways as they conquer neighboring countries. On November 1, the Rome-Berlin Axis is introduced. -
Nazis and Imperial Japan also Join forces.
Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan sign the Anti-Comintern pact. This is only directed against the International Communist movement which includes the Soviet Union. This is strange seeing as later Germany befriends Soviet Union. -
War in Pacific begins.
Japan begins the War in the Pacific by invading China. Although for now, this is the only conflict happening at the moment. No other nation has yet joined the fray. -
Munich Agreement
Italy, Great Britain, France, and Germany all sign a Munich Agreement that forces the Czechoslovak Republic to give up its land and cede to Sudetenland, as well as the Military defense positions to Nazi Germany. This angers the Czechs considerably but could not object. The Nazis have gotten what they want. -
The German Blitzgreg begins.
As time passes, the Germans pressure, the Slovaks into declaring independence to form a Slovak Republic. The Germans blaze and quickly occupy Czechoslovakia in violation of the Munich agreement. All in turn forms the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. -
Germany and Soviet Union sign agreement
Germany and Soviet Union sign non-agression agreement. This states that while both countries invade and conquer other nations, they would not war with each other. Little did Soviet Union knew, for that was Germany's plan from the beginning. -
Germany invades Poland
Germany goes on to invade Poland. This will initally start World War II in Europe. Great Britain and France both declare war on Germany because of the invasion. -
Germany attacks France and neutral countries in Western Europe.
Germany invades Western Europe. France, Belgium, as well as other countries fought back to no avail. Netherlands is captured on May 14 and Belgium is captured on the 28th. France signs an armistice in so that Germany will occupy Northern France while the government flees to Southern France. -
Axis Powers are formed
Germany, Italy, and Japan join forces as they sign the Tripartite Pact. This in turn, creates the Axis powers of WWII. Soviet Union is not within this alliance for Germany invades the Soviets later on in the war. -
U.S. enters the War
On December 7, 1941, Japan launches a suprise attack at Pearl Harbor on the coast of Hawaii. In return, President Roosevelt declares war on Japan the following day. To add more fuel to the fire, Germany and Italy both declare war on the U.S.
