Adolf Hitler, Leader of Germany
Adolf Hitler was declared the chancellor of Germany on this day. He was their hope and savior from the harsh terms of the Treaty of Versailles. Hitler had blamed the hard Germany times on the treaty as a scapgoat to his future actions. -

This was the first of four terms that Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected. He ran against Herbert Hoover. -
