    Germany would continue its blitzkrieg and bomb Britain. They would mainly attack London and for 11 months they continuously dropped bombs. This would be the first set back for Germany because Britain would not surrender.

    Three marine divisions would land on Iwo Jima defended by about 23,000 Japanese soldiers. The U.S was able to take over the island. This would help the U.S and give them a base near the Japanese.

  • U.S. Drops Nuclear Bomb

    U.S. Drops Nuclear Bomb
    The U.S. would drop a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima equivalent to 15,000 tons of TNT. It killed 80,000 people immediately. Thousands of people would die later. 3 days later the U.S. would drop another nuclear bomb on Nagasaki. Japan would surrender after this.
