Japanese invasion of China
During the night of July 7 a battle broke out between chinese and japanese troops, at the bridge of Lugou. The bridge served as straight access to Beijing, and as the bridge was lost to japanese troops, so was Beijing and it's port city, Tianjin. Full-scale war was announced. Rape of Nanking
A massacre that occured in the capital city of the Republic China, Nanjing (then called Nanking) during the Japanese invasion of China. Another term for the "Lighting War" which is a strategy for the Germans to defeat the opposing side, which included surprise attacks like the term "lighting fast". The ulterior motive for this was it was an effective tactic that helped the Germans progress in the war. The Impact of this was it helped the Germans defeat the French, Yugoslav, Greek, And Russian armies. Germany's invasion of Poland
An Invasion on Poland by Germany, parts of Slovak and the Soviet Union which stated the beginning of World War II in Europe. The reason was because of the idea of expansion for the Germans and to unite with them as well. They felt they could not be stopped. The effect was that th German expansion had began without inflaming any hostilities with the major powers. Hitler had high thoughts that his invaison of Poland would be tolerated. -

An operation that Soldiers from the Axis powers invaded Soviet Russia. It was the largest history of warfare invasion. What happend was Hitler authorieed an invasion on Russia. The impact was on Germany's failure led to Hitler's demands for further operations inside the USSR. This eventually failed as well. -
Pearl Harbor
Was a surprise military strike done by the Japanese Navy done on the American naval base. Their objective was to go against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and bomb them. The reason why it happend was to counteract the United States Pacific Fleet. This woud protect Japan's idea to advance into Dutch East Indies and Malaya. The effect was that this inflamed the United States and ignitioned the idea of U.S. to join the war. -

What happend was German authorities in the Warsaw ghetto deported and murdered around 300,000 Jews in total. Some Jews were also forced into labor camps. The effects were Jewish underground organizations made a unit in self-defense known as the Jewish Combat Organization from the Germans. -

Was the biggest war and the final war during World War II in the Pacific islands. The Allies had 65,000 casualties and 14,000 deaths. The reason it happend was the Japanese were changing their tactics of defense chich included the suicide missions. Effects were thousands of casualties and deaths. -

A celebrated holiday, it happend because Adolf Hitler the Nazi leader, committed suicide during the Battle of Berlin causing the conclusion of the end of the war. The effects are the Germans were sealing their defeat to the war and the World celebrates this day. -
Dropping of the atomic bombs
The reason why it happend was because The United States believed that if they resulted to their atomic bomb it would end the war with Japan hence we were going to be defeated. Also the retaliation from the Pearl Harbor bombing. Results were that Japan claimed defeat. Their atomic bombs kiled 150,000 people in Hiroshima and 75,000 in Nagasaki. It also affected Japan by producing radiation effecting the survivors of Hiroshima and Nagasaki causing cancer and other defects. -
VJ Day
VJ is celebrated as the victory in Europe. Why it happend was because the Japanese government called their defeat to the United States. The effects were because of the surrendering ceremony that performed in Tokyo Bay, Japan, along the battleship USS Missouri.
