French Premir telegramed president Roosevelt asking america to send aid a decleration of war if not any aid at all. Roosevelt was going to have the promise published and would send aid. The secratay of state apposed the idea. By that time german tanks rolled into paris. -

It was the Day the it was announced that japan had surrendered to the Allies. The Day is known as victory day.
