German airplanes bombed England since they couldn't reach it by foot they dropped bombs into England and often night raids that occurred in London cause many deaths of innocent citizens. -

On December 7, 1941 360 Japanese aircraft were thrown at the major naval base in the U.S. these bombings took the lives of 2,300 troops since the U.S. had been taken by surprise. This attacked pushed U.S. congress to declare war on Japan and shortly after the Axis Powers declared war to the U.S. -

June 1942 marked a turning point for the U.S. army who went from being defeated by the Japanese air force to defeating the Japanese air force, following the Allies victory in the Battle of Midway a series of battles were also a success ranging from August 1942-February 1943. -
