Hitler anounces that he will rearm the German army by creating an airforce, reinstate the draft, and rearm the nation. This speech made many people think that Hitler wanted peace with the West. Many Germans fell to Hitler's propaganda, and believed his speech. -

Hitler's meeting with Kurt von Schuschnigg
Hitler calls Austria's Prime Minister to a meeting for eleven hours. He threatened and insulted the Prime Minister, Hitler gave the Prime Minister three days to agree to the idea of Austria becoming part of "Greater Germany". When Schuschnigg gave the people the choice, Hitler intervened and the people voted 99.7 percent to be part of "Greater Gernany". -
Meeting in Munich
Leaders of Germanany, France, Britian, and Italy met in Munich to resolve who gets the Sudetenland. The leaders agreed on giving Hitler Sudetenland, in return Hitler promised he will stop demanding territory. This gave Hitler important land in Czech territory. -
Hitler lashes out against other leaders
Hitler talks about all countries who he thinks are hypocrits to his ways. Hitler decided to say he agrees with Roosevelt. Though, he says he wants to have Danziga and part of Poland in his territory. -
Hitler tagets Poland
Hitler takes prisoners from a concentration camp and brings them to the Polish Border. He dresses them as Polish soldiers and shoots them. Hitler then claimed that he was retaliating. He then announced that he wanted to start a war on Poland -
Nazis make laws against Polish Jews
The Nazis made Polish laws, such as ones having to do with yellow stars that Jews were forced to wear around daily. The jews were also forced to stay off the streets from 9pm-5am. If a Jew tried to violate any of these rules they could face ten years in jail. -
Hitler takes the West
Hitler took to the West once he controlled the East. Hitler conquered Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, and Luxemburg by May. In June, Hitler finally took France. This meant Hitler had all of Western Europe except Britain. -
Nazi forces invade Russia
Hitler ordered his officers to continue their duties, which were pushed to new levels. Hitler pushed into Russia to continue to destroy the Jewish race. The Nazis were intent on destroying the culture in European culture. -
United States enters the war
On December 8, 1941 Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanease. The Japanease asked Hitler to join the war, and he agreed. So three days later the US waged war against Hitler and the Nazis.
