The Treaty Of Versailles ended WW1 and forced Germany to pay reparations for the war. The treaty imposed many restrictions on the German people and ruined their economy leading the people to seek political change. -
Dawes Plan And Young Plan
The Dawes plan and Young plan was a plan to get Germany to pay back her war dents and mend relations. The Weimar Republic followed most of the rules of the Treaty of Versailles, this made the people of German people were fed up with the unfair terms of the Treaty of Versailles. This led people to seek political change. -
The Great Depression
The Great Depression happened after the stock market crashed and bank depositors withdrew all their saving at around the same time. Manufacturing companies could not afford to hold onto many of their employees, leading to mass unemployment. Farmers were over producing from wartime and when the price of crops fell many of them went bankrupt.
