Russo-Japanese War

This was was fought between the Russian Empire and the Japanese Empire. The major reason for this war was rival abtiions in Manchuria and the seas around Japan, Korea, and the Yellow Sea. Russia suffered many defeats by Japan, however, the war concluded with the Treaty of Portsmuth.

Austria-Hungary annexes Bosnia
