    Rape of Nanking
    The Japanese Imperial Army entred China and proceeded to murder 300,000 out of 600,000 civilians and soldiers in the city. This became known as the Rape Of Nanking, this was going to represent the single cruel act druing World War 2.     On July 23, 1944, they entered the Majdanek camp in Poland, and late entered other camps. On January 27, 1945, they entered Auschwitz and found hundreds of sick and exhausted prisoners. The British, Canadian, American, and French troops also had to free prisoners from the camps. The Americans were the ones for liberating Buchenwald and Dacha.     Japan finally surrendered after the six years of war. There was happiness and celebration, and August 15 was the day victory was declared in Japan. The end of this war, was marked as two days of holiday in the UK, U.S. and Australia. US President Harry S Truman gave good news at a press conference at the White House, and said that the Japanese Government had agreed to comply in full with the Potsdam declaration.
