    The Schlieffen Plan was tactic to invade France through Belgium. Little did the Germans know that Belgium had a secret alliance with Britain. As soon as Germany attacked through Belgium Britain was notofied and there was an warning sent to Germany but Germany didnt listen and didnt remove there troops with ment that Britain had to now launch anattack.

    The German cruiser, SMS Emden, was about to attack the British cable and wireless station on Cocos (keeling) islands before the HMAS sydney defeated them, wiping out a lot of soliders.
