Jewish rebel army that took complete control over Judea. Reason for the revolt was that Antiochus was issuing a proclamation that all Jewish traditions and the religion itself be outlawed. Therefore sparking a revolt first lead by Mattathias the Hasmonean. -

1st Revolt on Romans (The Great Revolt)
Jews waged a revolt for the first time on the Roman Empire. The Greek and Jewish religions had tensions and atttacked Roman citizens forcing Roman empire to take down the second Jewish temple and killed 6,000 Jews leading towards a full sclae revolt. -

2nd Revolt on Romans (The Kitos War)
Jews decided through everything that has happened to slaughter more Roman citizens and this time a lot. Over 400,000 citizens total were beat down and killed around 200,000 in Cyrene and little over 240,000 in Cyprus. Causing yet another full scale revolt because Romans acted on this problem by crushing thousands of jews by the Roman Legion. -

Known as the greatest King of Israel. Famous for the stories of David and Goliath, David and Bathsheba, and raised a very powerful family of more descendent Kings. -

Created through the Akkadian Empire after its fall, Assyria in the North and Babylonia in the south. Supposedly Descendents of Abraham's grandson. Suffered a genocide at the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. -
Babylonians (2400 B.C.E)
Was created by the fall of the Akkadian Empire split between Babylonians and the Assyrians. Babylonians took the south. Taken captive by Assyria during the time they were building their own Empire after the fall of the Akkadian Empire. King Nebuchadnezzar saved the Babylonians after three centuries of being captive. -
Antiochus IV
Father was Antiochus III. Brother was Seleucus IV. Was the first ever Seleucid King to use divine epithets on coins. Tried interacting with the people he ruled an earned the full name of Antiochus Epiphanes. Epiphanes meaning "The Mad One".
