They believed that the father was the absolute leader of the household. Our government is much like theirs with the different branches and leaders instead of just one all knowing and powerful leader.

    Pax Romana is a time period where Rome was very prosperous and trading with many different countries. There was what you would call peace. The Roman Empire created "innocent until proven guilty" which we use in America. They built a lot of buildings and arenas that still stand to this day they are a large tourist attractions. They state in their laws that the state is more important than the individuals.

    There were many reasons why the Roman Empire fell. The first cause was due to inflation, which caused their economy to crash. The second reason was that they split up the empire into two provinces. Later on, they split the empire up into two separate empires, which weakened them a lot. The last and main reason is due to many people invading and wanting the Roman's power. The Huns and Germans/Barbarians were the main people wanting the land. In the end, the Barbarians/Germans got it.
