    Mesopotamia was the earliest river valley civilization, starting to form around 3500 BC. It was located between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, in what is now Syria and Iraq. The land was fertile because of the rivers and they did a lot of farming.

    Ancient Egypt

    Ancient Egypt was a civilization that was established around the Nile at around 3300 B.C. and it lasted until around 330 A.D. They are known for their pyramids, gods, pharaohs, and hieroglyphs. They used the Nile to their advantage, they used irrigation for their crops and traveled by boat on the Nile.
