THe battle of hasting is when William the Conqueror (or William the Bastard), Duke of Normandy, invades England because he was promised the throne of England but then Harold, who was the Kings messanger to William, took the throne even after he swore on some holy relics. SO William invades England and intorduced the futile system.

This is the date of the battle of Crecy a famous batlle when the British defeated the French even though the French had 4 times as many numbers as them. Edward the Black Prince was knighted during this battle as well as it was his first battle in command. His father knighted him and then when Edward the Black Prince asked for more help in his part of the battle his father said let the boy win his spurs. This coming aniversary of this particular battle happens to be the 666th aniversary -
