Before Jesus Christ died He had followers, but it was not until after his death that His following began to increase. The men who stuck closest to Jesus, the disciples, began to spread the teachings of Jesus. As the religion grew they started to be recognized as Christians. -

Gutenberg Bible Made
After the invention of the Roman Catholic Church they found that they needed a unified scripture. Hence the invention of the Gutenberg Bible. Written all in Latin it was one of the first mass produced books. -

Martin Luther Split the Roman Catholic Church
As with any organization there will always be disagreement between people. Martin Luther was unhappy with the state of the Roman Catholic Church and knew there needed to be change. He was responsible for creating the Protestant Church. -
Modern Charismatic Christianity
As time goes on the Religion develops and changes with the people who follow it. The birth of the Modern Charismatic Church occurred during the sixties, a time known for its parties and drug culture. These cultural influences were imprinted into the practices of the Church. Charismatic Churches embraced free styled worship including jumping, shouting, and dancing.
