    The Gulf War began in 2003 a few years after 911,after the Al Queda terrorists terrorized the twin towers in New York City. The United States seized Afghanistan for these terrorists. The United States created a strike against Afghanistan to stop the making of Nuclear weapons, and a war was then created. My aunt fought in this war for a few years, which influenced me into fighting for what you believe in.

    Google Kicks Off The Internet
    It all started when 2 friends Larry Page and Sergey Brin the creators/ owners of the company created the Google software on September 4th 1998 in their good friends garage in their hometown California, Menlo Park. Google was invented to allow all the information in the world to be easily accessible. Although in 2004, that's when google was becoming the start of the internet. This life challenging experience taught me that you can do anything if you put your mind to it.

    On August 23rd 2005 at 9am the day of Katrina, 80% of New Orleans was flooded in water, and wind speed were at 140 miles an hour. Medical attention,food and water was needed so they suffered without it. Overall,$100 billion of damage was done, thousands of family's houses, and buildings were ruined,and 2,000 citizens were dead. Hurricane Katrina was A tragic catastrophe that allowed everyone in the United States to sympathize for New Orleans which taught me to be grateful for everything I have.

    Clyde Tombaugh was the first person to spot Pluto in 1930. Pluto was still the same planet, but the circumstances for being a planet did however change. Pluto fulfilled all of the requirements except one of them. "clearing the neighborhood of its orbit."
    (-Wonderopolis) Pluto didn't fulfill this requirement to be considered a planet and, now its no longer was Pluto we all used to know. This taught me that if something doesn't meet the requirements, it doesnt mean its necessarily wrong.

    The vote was so close, it was neck and neck! Barrack Obama had 53% of the popular vote and his opponent had 45%. Barrack Obama won the 2008 presidential election, and fulfilled his position for president in 2009. Barrack Obama was the first African american president the United States has ever had, which is truly inspiring. Barrack Obama showed me to work hard for what you want.
