He recalled the events of 9/11 in a recent interview with ABC. A series of four attacks were launched against the United States by the Islamist terrorist group, Al-Qaeda. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center towers, causing them to collapse within two hours. A third plane crashed into the Pentagon, while a fourth plane, targeting the United States Capitol, crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. President Bush was on a visit to a school in Florida when the attacks occured. -
