NAWSA formed

Know as the National American Wemon Suffrage Association it was the first organization to help fight woman's suffrage and to help allow women to vote

granted women the right to vote the ratifacation won in august 1920-72 years after women had first convened and demanded the vote at the senca falls convention in 1848
