This is a book written by Betty Friedan. After many interviews, Friedan found out that women were unhappy with living as housewives rather than being fufilled by it as all the movies make it seem. Equal Pay Act Is Passed

National Organization for Women (NOW)

Equal RIghts Amendment

Roe v. Wade
The Supreme Court establishes a womens right to safe and legal abortion, overriding the anti-abortion laws of many states.
