    The First States To Allow Woman To Vote
    The first state to allow woman to vote was Wymong in 1869. Wymong allowing woman to vote means that people are finally listening to the NAWSA. SHortly after this three other western states gave woman the right to vote. Colorado (1893), Utah (1896), and Idaho (1896). These states allowing woman to vote means the nation is one step closer to allowing woman in every state to vote.

    The National Woman Suffrage Association and the American Woman Suffrage Association join togeher after 21 years of independent work. These two assocsiations coming together shows that Woman are coming together because they want things to change. All these woman working together, is a symbol of all women working together to get what they deseve. The NAWSA was created after the merger of these two asscosiation merging.

    1912 is the year that alot of women were involved in the government. A large group of women were women for presidental canidates. The 1912 election was crucial to the country's future because whoever becomes president determines whether women are allowed to vote ot not. Women thought they can convince the canditates to allow women to vote getting involved in the government.

    In 1913 Alice Paul joined the NAWSA. She became a quick leader.Alice wanted an ammendmment ti allow women to vote nationallly, Their first activity was massive parade on March 3, 1913. This was the day the president would give his inauguration speech. Alice and the NAWSA were very brave especially since there were alot of polices there. They proved a point that they would do anything to get want they want. They were leaving their mark. They want things to be done.
