Petition of Rights
A major English constitutional document that sets out specific liberties of the subjects that the king is prohibited from infringing. -
English Bill of Rights
Prohibited a standing army during peacetime. Except with the consent of parliament. -
Albany Plan of Union
Benjamin Franklin Pruposed this which created a group of representives from each collonies. These representives were incharge of making rules and keeping order. -
Boston Massacre
Were British Army soldiers killed 5 male civilians, and injured 6 others. They people killed and injured were protesting over unpopular parliament. -

Demonstators destroyed a load of tea by tossing it in the bay. Did iin protest of high tea tax. -

Meeting of delegates from 12 of the 13 colonies. Met at the carpenters hall in Philli. -

Called for 2 houses of congress, both elected with apportionment according to population.
