Old English
Old Enlish was used for a period of time from 450 to to 1066. It was seperated into different forms as it progressed over time, prehistoric Ood english, early old english, and late old english. Examples:

Middle english
1066 Through 1485 was the time of middle english and it was spoken in Norman England and in the platagenet area. At the end of the era is when the early modern english started to form. Example:

In stede of fode þare me louked he.

Mi saule he tornes in to gode.
He led me ouer sties of rightwisenes,
