    William Golding
    Golding began attending college in Oxford in 1930 and spent 2 years studying science against his fathers beliefs. He dreamed of writing poetry and worked as a writer, actor abs producer in a small theater in London. He began teaching english and philosophy and married Ann Brookfield. He taught from 1939 to 1961 when he left his school to write full time. He wrote Lord of the Flies in 1954 and died in 1993.
