bourbon is first shipped and packaged in jugs, it was previously in barrels this makes bourbon more easily availible -

at the end of prohibition the wild turkey distillery undergoes a moderiztion before reopening -
the name sticks
distillery executive takes his privete supply with him on a turkey hunt with his friends the next year they requested that he bring the same wild turkey bourbon. -

wild turkey liquor which was perhaps the finest american liquor ever made was produced on large scale -

wild turkey still countinues to produce bourbon and recently in 2007 relased a new brand called american honey -

though its not the best thing ever wild turkey won the 2012 drammie award for worst wiskey marketing campain with slogan "give em the bird"
