I am a grade 10 student at Bishop Macdonell Catholic high school, I am in school getting a education which was a choice that is laid out for me just like everyone else. I use tools in my life like, communication skills, compromise and persistence. -
Grade 12 year/ Graduation
The next two years of high school I will continue to grow and excel in biology, chemistry and physics and as well as sociology classes and math. I will graduate an honour roll student with acceptance to University of Guelph for bio-chemistry, anatomy and cell and molecular biology -
Undergraduate at University of Guelph
I will go to school for the next 4 years at UofG making excellent marks, I believe the skills I will need to achieve my goals here are self discipline and determination for what I want. -
I will Attend either McMaster or Dalhousie for Medical School
After graduating from Guelph, I will go on to medical school at one of the two universities. I feel like this big step in my life will be a very life changing moment. I will have to deal with compromise, living away from home and being able to adapt and keep up with classes and my environment. -
A Family
I believe that family is one of the most important things you can have. Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed about having a family of my own to love and grow with, Being a mother is one of the most challenging jobs out there it requires so much patience and sacrifice and unconditional love. Seeing my family now I know that I want that one day and will do what ever it takes to get there. -
Doctors without Borders
Once I am done my many years of medical school it is my dream to take my job and make a difference, I understand that the demands that come with this job are a lot and sometimes impossible but the rewards of saving people is worth it. Doctors without Borders is an amazing organization that I would love to be apart of. I will need adaptability, compassion and strength to be able to go to places that have nothing and try to help. -
My life overall goals
There are certain things looking forward in life i know I want. I love to choose a profession like a doctor/surgeon that saves peoples lives and everyday going in to work is a challenge, entertaining and keeps me on my toes. My biggest fear is to end up somewhere in life that I don't want to be, like a cubical. My life will be full of love from my family and friends. I want to constantly be travelling the world and seeing the globe from everywhere. I can guarantee I will have almost 10 dogs too. -
Tools and Skills
Doing this assignment I have come to realize just how many abilities I must have to reach my destination such as endless persistence, striking determination and self confidence. Throughout my life I'm sure with maturity I will develop these skills and characteristics to overall making my dream life a reality.
